I love small food. A few reasons why…
- Easy to eat.
Well, that’s really all I’ve got. But I do enjoy small food, especially sliders. I make these from time to time, they are a great weeknight dinner because they are so quick and easy and warm up great for lunch the next day.
You will need ground turkey, Parmesan cheese, garlic, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. And cheese, if you are the type of person to put cheese on burgers…
Oh, and these…
So basically you just mix everything together. (Recipe below) Make small patties, remember they will decrease in size as they cook, so make them a bit bigger than you think would fit the bun.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Flip and cook another 10 minutes. Meanwhile cut the cheese. Wait, no, that sounded bad.
I have a # 3 as to why I like little food, you seriously eat less. It’s all about perception. Give me a big ol’ burger and I will eat it. Give me 2 small burgers and I eat a lot less, and will be completely satisfied.
Turkey Burger Sliders
1 lb ground turkey 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese 1/2 teaspoon basil 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1 clove garlic minced (I use the garlic in the jar) salt and pepper
Adjust these seasonings as you wish, I really just throw stuff in and mix.
Mix all of the ingredients together in a big bowl. Form small patties and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, flip and bake another 10 minutes. Top with cheese and serve will small rolls or buns.
